Harnessing the Power of TEVUS: Assessing Lone-Wolf Drone Terror Threats with the Terrorist and Extreme Violence in the United States (TEVUS) Portal

Dear Bayo,

The Visual Analytics for Command, Control, and Interoperability Environments (VACCINE) Center and American Military University (AMU) are proud to announce the next webinar in their series and you're invited to join on Friday December 16, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m (ET).

The sixth webinar, "Harnessing the Power of TEVUS: Assessing Lone-Wolf Drone Terror Threats with the Terrorist and Extreme Violence in the United States (TEVUS) Portal will be highlighted by co-presenters Capt. Mathew A. Hughes, U.S. Army, and Liberty Day, Training Manager for the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START).

Capt. Hughes and Ms. Day will explore how the TEVUS portal, a free, public-facing online interface and visualization tool that compiles multiple facets of extremist violence in the U.S. dating back to 1970, can be used to make informed, data-driven decisions in terrorism threat assessment. They'll focus on the unique challenges that are posed by drones, which have become both affordable and available to the general public.

This will be followed by a breakout session that allows participants to ask questions, brainstorm, and share ideas.
